Hi all here's some recently discovered pictures of me back in the day at Southsea Skatepark near Portshmouth in the UK. I learned a lot of my craft at this wonderful skatepark and some of the skate sessions where incredible. It hosted many legendary Skate and Bmx events and bred some talented athletes! Boosting a big old flappy backside air on the Southsea vert ramp ( before it was extended and made of metal) Goofing off on the Southsea mini ramp Invert watched by a large crowd in my competition days

I was in the lovely town of Busselton recently doing some surfing and skateboarding. This impromptu coaching session came about with some local kids!! Much fun was had by all The fantastic Dunsborough bowl and skatepark. Well worth a visit if your in town

The clinics are suitable for beginners and experienced skateboarders and will be run at various locations around the Town. Good day all you cobbers from down under!!! Well so starts a busy few weekend for myself and here is a quick report as to whats been happening!. Last week i took a trip to the First "Gravity Enduro event" run on the new trails in Kalamunda. It was a really fun day and i would have loved to have been part of it but couldnt get an entry. The fastest times where posted by Sam Hill ( a Perth local and world class downhill ripper i learned later) "Sam was the man" Smooth, fast and bionic. He even cleared the jump section from berm to jump. Heres a couple of pictures i took of some unnamed riders. The amtmosphere was really good with everyone cheering for crashers, smashers, rippers and not so rippers. Next event i can do i am in!! I got my very first MTB event this Sunday 33 years after starting BMX racing i am finally taking the plunge!! Its the State XC championships. So i hope to place ok and not hold the fast guys up. I ve then got the Dwellingup 100 on Sept 7t...

The New Park in Ocean Reef about 15 mins north of Scarborough. Super smooth super fast and at the moment packed with all forms of scooters/skaters/bmxers Give it to the end of January and it should calm down. Had a quick roll and its fun. More pics and report coming up

This is a recent shot (2013) from the Globe Bowl in Bali. Its got smooth and tight transitions that can take some balls to get used to!! I had a quick go and was wrecked after 15 mins. Humidity is pretty high in the wet season in Bali Had a session in Drummonds Bowl, Geraldton a few months ago and I was all alone so used self timer to shoot this shot. Took a few goes but it came out ok!!

Here are some photos of myself and Andy Preston competing in the 1984 bmx beat competition which we came first and second in! Sorry about the quality of the pics but it was a long time ago! Here are some pics of local skateparks in Perth, keep your eyes open for a new improved website coming very soon and features on local tracks coaching information and tips.Check out the hot local "Jayden" he's on a scooter but i tell you he was getting 4/5ft airs out of a gnarly quarter and coming back in smooth as you like. The kid rips on a bmx to but unfortunately got his nicked a couple of weeks ago. Someone give this guy a bike!!!

Well action sports coaching namely me! Got to go to Sepang in October with All access paddock passes courtesy of Jamie Beswick (thanks jamie) i got full hospitality with the Kawasaki race team,i got fed, watered and met all the riders. Check out some of the images. Cheers Mike

Having worked on camps with Shanaze Reade and watched her train. I am posting some pics and a vid clip ive taken of her training over the last two years. This is Shanaze's moment when all the hard work is down to 60 secs. Whatever happens we love ya Shinny!! Heres a great quote from a radio 5 live viewer " If Shanaze Reade can bounce back on her bike after a fall like that, how come certain footballers need an entire trauma team after being fouled?"
